Reading Corner – Zombies Don’t Cry

I finished Zombies Don’t Cry today. A young adult novel by Rusty Fischer, it’s listed as Book One in A Living Dead Love Story but it just was published in 2011 so from what I can tell Book Two is not out yet. I don’t think I’ll be reading it. Zombies Don’t Cry was an easy read, written for ages 12 and up and it would probably appeal to those who enjoy vampire and other monster genre and to the younger age set. I thought the idea and constructs behind the author’s zombie mythology were intriguing but that’s about as far as it went for me.

Up next is Never Let Me Go, by Kazuo Ishiguro. I don’t remember where I found this title but it’s on my list to read so I picked it up from the library to give it a whirl. Crossing my fingers for a good read. 🙂
