It has been a long time since I’ve read a book so impressive. Mistborn is phenomenal. Many fantasies that I read are intriguing, gripping, engaging on many levels but there is so much more to Mistborn. I’m not sure I can even find the words to express my feelings while reading it. I could hardly put it down over the past week. The action of the story is laced with philosophical meaning. Even though I couldn’t stop reading, I often put the book down for a few minutes before reading the next section or chapter, to give myself a few moments to digest the message of the last few pages. To all my fantasy loving friends, if you haven’t read this series yet, put it on your list to read. I’ve had it on my list for 2-3 years and I’m kicking myself for waiting so long. It’s that good. I’m eager to dive into the next installment but don’t have a copy. I have other things on my shelf not read, so now I must decide…choose something else and take a break from the series, or hunt down a copy of The Well of Ascension and keep reading. Decisions, decisions. 🙂
There’s always another secret.
