Win a Gallon of Organic Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil from Tropical Traditions

**UPDATE** This giveaway has ended. The winner has been notified.

I had so much success and fun with the Tropical Traditions coconut oil giveaway two weeks ago (congrats to Donna K. for winning!) that Tropical Traditions approved me for another one! And they upped the ante…to a gallon-sized tub! Wow! I know that might seem like a lot, but if you use it for as many things as I do (skin care, hair care, cooking, baking) it can be used up fairly quickly. If you’d like another chance to try this product, for FREE, enter today at the bottom of this post.

Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil - gallon.Win 1 gallon of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!

Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?

You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

To Enter:

You must 18+ and be a US or Canadian resident. Simply subscribe to the Tropical Traditions newsletter here AND leave a comment below letting me know that you did, or that you already are a subscriber, and tell me what’s your favorite recipe or way to use coconut oil. Is it for sunscreen? Bug repellent? Hair care? Deodorant? Do you have a favorite recipe for cookies, fudge, or snack bars? I had never tried it in my coffee until readers had commented in the last post that they enjoyed it in their coffee so I’m looking forward to hearing more new ideas that I haven’t thought of or tried.

This giveaway will close at midnight on July 11th. I will use random.org to choose the winner and will notify the winner via email. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, I will choose a new winner.

GOOD LUCK! 🙂

  3. I’ve subscribed to their newsletter. But I’m a newcomer to coconut oil, so I don’t yet have a favorite way to use it. I have a jar (I think it’s even Tropical Traditions brand) in the pantry, but have only used it so far as a substitute for butter or other oil for frying. Would love to have a gallon’s worth to experiment with, though!

I have used TT gallon size coconut oil for 4 years now. Two years ago, I moved to Hawaii from the mainland. Since I was moving with a container, I ordered two gallons ahead and brought them with me 🙂
I use the oil in hot cocoa, on popcorn with cinnamon, in all my baking and in stir-fry.
Absolutely love it. Thank you, Tropical Traditions for keeping the processing traditional. I look forward to your products making an appearance in Hawaii soon.
It’s fun to have unlimited coconut here on the island and I’ve learned to make fresh coconut milk with fresh coconut. With the coconut milk, coconut oil and the flakes, what else do you need?

Ends of hair to prevent split ends.
    Itchy skin
    Sunscreen
And I have suggested it to friends that suffered from yeast infections – 2tbsp in an ice tray and insert! TMI? Sorry, it works.
Also use it to cook with or add to smoothies. Endless list and NO GUILT! My heart is happy. 🙂

If we don’t share information with one another, we miss out on so much! Sometimes I find out about an eco/organic/natural way of doing something from a friend who has been doing it for some time and I feel like, “why didn’t you ever tell me?!!” lol I think we need to stop feeling like we have to hide our unconventional ways of doing things and sharing them more so we can be part of the wave of change away from processed and chemically treated foods and products in the mass market. Thanks for stopping by and for following my blog. I’ve added yours to my Feedly reader as well. 🙂

    1. I have started using it in the shower after shaving to moisturize my legs. Because I use the old school shaving method I get a really close shave which tends to dry out my legs. Since I shy away from traditional lotion products due to their chemical content, and because I haven’t tried to make my own lotion yet, I thought I’d try the coconut oil and I just love the results. I’ve started using it in my hair when showering too but never left it in overnight. Do you wear a cap? Does it leave your hair greasy to leave it in so long?
