Many of these recipes are found on other sites, sometimes slightly modified to our taste, sometimes made the same. I always link back to the original source where I found the recipe to give credit and to allow readers to see another way to make the dish if it is not an original creation.

The recipes below are generally not conventional or typical recipes. Don and I strive for an 80/20 approach to our food, as suggested by Mark Sisson in The Primal Blueprint. For us that means we try to eat natural, whole foods as much as possible, while also limiting the processed foods as much as possible. We are far from perfect. You will also probably find that I use the terms paleo and primal loosely; I do not believe in strict definitions of either word. Our philosophy regarding food and nutrition is ever-changing and constantly growing. In my posts you’ll see us experimenting with new foods we’ve never tried before, preparations that may be new to us, and enjoying some good eats. I hope you see something that inspires you.
